How to manage anti-static facilities

1. Static safety workbench: It consists of a workbench, anti-static mat, anti-static wrist strap connector, and anti-static grounding wire.

2. There should be two or more wrist strap connectors on the anti-static desk mat, one for operators and one for technicians and inspectors.

3. Plastic boxes, rubber, cardboard, glass and other debris that are prone to static electricity are not allowed to be stacked on the static electricity safety workbench. Drawing materials should be placed in anti-static file bags.

4. Anti static wristband: Personnel who come into direct contact with static sensitive devices must wear an anti-static wristband,

The wristband should have good contact with the human skin, and the wristband system should have a ground resistance value of 1M Ω.

5. Anti static containers: Component storage bags, turnover boxes, SMT loading and unloading racks, etc. in production sites should have static electricity protection function. Metal and ordinary containers are not allowed to be used, and all containers must be grounded.

6. Anti static work clothes: Personnel entering the static work area and those in contact with SMD components must wear anti-static work clothes, especially in dry environments with relative humidity less than 50% (such as winter) The fabric of work clothes should comply with relevant national standards.

7. Personnel entering the work area must wear anti-static work shoes. Personnel wearing regular shoes should use conductive shoe bundles, anti-static shoe covers, or heel straps.

9. The conveyor belts and drive shafts used on the production line should be equipped with anti-static grounding brushes and support rods.

10. Ionic wind static eliminators can be used on the surface of the conveyor belt.

11. Assembly fixtures, testing fixtures, welding tools, various instruments, etc. used in production sites should be equipped with good grounding wires.

12. An anti-static test bench should be installed at the entrance of the production site, and every person entering the production site should undergo anti-static testing. Only after passing the test can they enter the site.
