Standardized process for cleaning and replacing insulation layer of desktop box furnace
Date: 2025-08-13Read: 1
Desktop box furnaceThe cleaning and replacement of insulation layer is an important step to ensure its good performance and extend its service life. Here is a standardized process for reference:
1、 Cleaning process of insulation layer
1. Safety preparation
Ensure that the box furnace has been powered off and the furnace body has cooled to a safe temperature to prevent burns or electric shocks.
Wear appropriate protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, etc.
2. External cleaning
Wipe the outer surface of the furnace body with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth to remove impurities such as dust and oil stains.
Avoid using corrosive cleaning agents to prevent damage to the furnace material.
3. Internal cleaning
Open the furnace door and wait for the furnace to cool down.
Use a soft bristled brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust, debris, and oxide scale from the furnace.
For stubborn stains, a slightly damp soft cloth can be used to carefully wipe them, but moisture should be avoided from contacting electrical components and heating parts.
4. Surface cleaning of insulation layer
If there are visible stains or impurities on the surface of the insulation layer, a soft dry cloth can be used to gently wipe it.
Avoid using excessive force or scraping with hard objects to prevent damage to the insulation layer.
5. Inspection and recording
During the cleaning process, check for any damage or detachment of the insulation layer.
Record the cleaning date and condition of the insulation layer for subsequent tracking and maintenance.

2、 Insulation layer replacement process
1. Safety preparation
Same as the cleaning process, ensure that the box furnace has been powered off and cooled to a safe temperature.
Wear appropriate protective equipment.
2. Remove the old insulation layer
Use appropriate tools (such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.) to remove fixed components on the box furnace, such as screws, buckles, etc.
Carefully remove the old insulation layer from the furnace body to avoid damaging the furnace body or other components.
3. Prepare a new insulation layer
according toDesktop box furnaceChoose the appropriate new insulation material based on the model and specifications.
Ensure that the size, thickness, and shape of the new insulation layer match the old insulation layer.
4. Install a new insulation layer
Carefully place the new insulation layer on the furnace body, ensuring a tight fit with the furnace body.
Use appropriate fasteners (such as screws, buckles, etc.) to secure the new insulation layer to the furnace body.
Pay attention to the tightness of the fasteners to avoid being too tight or too loose.
5. Inspection and testing
After installation, check if the new insulation layer is installed correctly and there is no looseness or detachment.
Reconnect the power supply, start the box furnace, and conduct a simple heating test to ensure that the new insulation layer can work properly.
6. Recording and archiving
Record the date of replacing the insulation layer, the model and specifications of the new insulation layer, and other information.
Archive and save relevant documents for future tracking and maintenance.
Please note that the above process is for reference only, and should be followed in actual operationDesktop box furnaceAdjust the specific model and manufacturer's guidelines. If unsure how to operate, it is recommended to consult professional maintenance personnel or manufacturer's technical support.
