The walk-in constant temperature and humidity test chamber is a device that simulates harsh temperature and humidity environments and verifies product reliability. It is widely used in fields such as automotive, electronics, and scientific research. Its large enclosure and complex refrigeration/humidification/control system operate continuously for a long time, which can easily lead to inaccurate temperature control, humidity fluctuations, and frequent malfunctions due to dust accumulation, scaling, component aging, and other issues. The scientific maintenance of the walk-in constant temperature and humidity test chamber is the core to ensure the authenticity and reliability of test data.

1、 Daily cleaning
After each experiment, residual samples, water stains, and pollutants inside the box should be immediately cleaned to prevent corrosion or mold growth. Clean the surface of the inner liner weekly, using neutral detergent and a soft cloth to wipe and avoid scratching the stainless steel inner wall. Key cleaning of humidifier scale: Drain the water tank and soak it in a specialized descaling agent or diluted acetic acid solution to prevent scale accumulation from affecting humidification efficiency and water purity. At the same time, clean the blades and air ducts of the air circulation fan to ensure unobstructed airflow.
2、 Filtering system
Check and clean the intake filter screen (usually located outside the box or control cabinet) monthly, remove dust and debris, and avoid blockages that may cause poor heat dissipation or reduced air volume. If it is a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter, it should be replaced according to the manufacturer's recommended cycle to prevent microbial or particulate matter contamination of the testing environment.
3、 Refrigeration system
Check the condenser for dust accumulation every quarter, use compressed air or soft bristled brushes to remove dust between the fins, improve heat dissipation efficiency, and reduce compressor load. Observe the refrigerant pipeline for oil stains and determine if there is a leak. Listen to the sound of the compressor running to see if it is normal, and whether there are any abnormal vibrations or noises.
4、 Sealing and safety
Check the sealing strip of the box door every month for aging, cracking or deformation, clean the surface with a damp cloth and apply special protective paste to maintain elasticity. After closing the door, observe whether it fits tightly to prevent temperature and humidity leakage. At the same time, test the sensitivity and effectiveness of safety devices such as over temperature protection, overload protection, and water shortage alarm to ensure that the power can be cut off in a timely manner in case of emergencies.
5、 Control system and sensor calibration
After running for 1000 hours every six months or cumulatively, the temperature sensor and humidity sensor should be calibrated, and a standard temperature and humidity meter should be used to compare multiple points inside the box to correct deviations. Check whether the electrical components such as control instruments, relays, and contactors are loose or corroded, and tighten the wiring terminals.
6、 Maintenance of waterways and drainage systems
Regularly check whether the water supply pipeline is leaking, whether the drainage pipe is blocked or bent, to ensure smooth humidification and dehumidification drainage, and to prevent water or overflow from the tank volume.
