The manufacturer of the salt spray corrosion test chamber selects its pipeline materials

The salt spray corrosion test chamber is an environmental test that mainly uses the salt spray corrosion test chamber to create artificial simulated salt spray environmental conditions to assess the corrosion resistance performance of products or metal materials. It is divided into two categories, one is natural environmental exposure testing, and the other is artificial accelerated simulated salt spray environmental testing. The artificial simulation of salt spray environment test is a testing equipment with a certain volume space - salt spray corrosion test chamber, which uses manual methods to create a salt spray environment in its volume space to assess the quality of the product's salt spray corrosion resistance performance. Compared with the natural environment, the chlorine level in its salt spray environment can be several times or tens of times higher than the salt spray content in general natural environments, greatly increasing the corrosion rate. The time required to obtain results from salt spray tests on products is also greatly reduced. If a product sample is tested in a natural exposure environment, it may take up to 1 year for it to corrode, while testing under artificial simulated salt spray conditions only takes 24 hours to obtain similar results.
Compared with other rubbers, the pipeline material of the salt spray corrosion test chamber, fluorosilicone rubber, not only has the high and low temperature resistance (-55 ℃~205 ℃), weather resistance, compression recovery, rebound, electrical characteristics, and film release properties of silicone rubber, but also has the fuel oil and solvent resistance properties of fluororubber. Compared with fluororubber, it has more outstanding cold resistance and compression deformation, and has less dependence on temperature. It can exhibit excellent performance from low to high temperature, and is one of the synthetic rubbers with comprehensive performance in the world today. Moreover, fluorosilicone rubber has excellent weather aging resistance and still has good performance after long-term exposure.
After purchasing a brand new salt spray corrosion test chamber and other equipment, we should pay special attention to its installation and use, including:
1. Power supply: 220V 50Hz (suitable for small models such as LP/Y-150 and LP/Y-250).
2. The placement of the salt spray corrosion test chamber is about 50cm away from the wall, with appropriate maintenance space reserved on both sides. There is an independent placement site, as the salt spray chamber itself is a corrosive testing equipment, to avoid affecting surrounding equipment.
3. Before the main power line of the salt spray corrosion test chamber, please install an additional non fuse switch or knife switch.
4. The exhaust pipe can be made of PVC hard pipe and extended to the outside for discharge. Attention should be paid to the installation of the exhaust pipe, which should be inclined downwards in a straight line from the height of the machine pipe mouth.
5. The installation position of the salt spray corrosion test chamber should avoid direct sunlight to avoid affecting the testing conditions.
6. The installation position of the salt spray corrosion test chamber should be kept away from other electrical equipment or flammable materials as much as possible to avoid danger.
