How to operate the portable oil monitoring system?

In the maintenance of modern industrial equipment, oil monitoring is one of the key links to ensure the stable operation of the equipment. The portable oil monitoring system has become a reliable assistant for many equipment maintenance personnel due to its advantages of easy operation, fast detection, and accurate data. So, how to operate it correctly? This article will provide you with a detailed introduction to its operational process.

1、 Equipment preparation and startup
Before starting the operation, ensure that the oil monitoring system has been correctly installed and all necessary accessories have been connected, such as power adapters, oil sample injectors, etc. Press the power button, and the system will automatically perform a self-test. After the self-test is completed, the main interface will be displayed on the screen, indicating that the device is ready.
2、 Oil sample collection
Oil sample collection is the first and most critical step of the operation. Proper oil sample collection can ensure the accuracy of test results. Firstly, prepare a clean oil sample syringe to ensure that there are no impurities or residual liquids inside. Then, extract an appropriate amount of oil sample from the device's fuel tank or oil pipe. Usually, the oil sample volume is 3-5 mL. When extracting the oil sample, attention should be paid to avoiding contamination of the oil sample, such as avoiding air mixing or contact with other substances.
3、 Oil sample injection
Inject the collected oil sample into the detection module of the oil monitoring system. Most oil monitoring systems are equipped with dedicated oil sample injector interfaces. Operators only need to insert the injector into the interface, gently push the plunger of the injector, and inject the oil sample into the detection module. When injecting the oil sample, it is necessary to ensure that the oil sample is fully injected to avoid overflow or residue.
4、 Select detection mode
Portable oil monitoring systems typically support multiple detection modes to accommodate different types of oil and detection needs. Common detection modes include hydraulic oil mode, gear oil mode, engine oil mode, etc. The operator needs to select the corresponding testing mode based on the actual type of oil being tested. In the main interface, by touching the screen or selecting the corresponding mode through buttons, the system will automatically load the corresponding detection parameters.
5、 Start detection
After completing the oil sample injection and selecting the detection mode, press the "Start Detection" button, and the system will automatically start the detection program. During the detection process, the system will analyze various indicators of the oil in sequence, such as wear metal content, number of pollutant particles, moisture content, degree of oxidation, etc. The detection time is usually around 3-5 minutes, depending on the detection mode and the complexity of the oil.
6、 Read the test results
After the detection is completed, the system will automatically display the detection results on the screen. The test results usually include specific values of various indicators, cleanliness levels, health status assessments, etc. Operators can quickly understand the current status of the oil through on-screen prompts. If the detection result exceeds the normal range, the system will issue an alarm prompt to remind the operator to take corresponding maintenance measures.
7、 Data recording and analysis
Portable oil monitoring systems typically have data storage and export functions. The operator can save the detection results in the internal memory of the device, or export the data to a computer or other device through USB interface or Bluetooth for further data analysis and historical comparison. Through long-term data recording and analysis, we can better grasp the usage and health trends of equipment oil, providing scientific basis for preventive maintenance of equipment.
8、 Equipment cleaning and maintenance
After each inspection, the portable oil monitoring system needs to be cleaned and maintained. Wipe the surface of the equipment with a clean soft cloth to remove oil stains and dust. At the same time, check whether there is any residual oil in the detection module and oil sample injector interface, and clean them in a timely manner if necessary. Regularly calibrate and maintain the equipment to ensure its long-term stable operation.
Through the above steps, operators can easily use the oil monitoring system to quickly and accurately detect equipment oil. This type of equipment not only improves detection efficiency, but also reduces equipment maintenance costs, providing strong support for the stable operation of industrial equipment.
