Taking "Xiangdonghua" as an example, this variety is included in the 25th edition of the Pharmacopoeia, with a characteristic map item method of 45 minutes. It should be noted that the original method does not have a gradient equilibrium time. In actual detection work, in order to meet reproducibility requirements, an initial gradient equilibrium time of 10 minutes is generally required based on the volume of the chromatographic column, which means that this method takes a total of 55 minutes. In addition, besides the relatively long time, it also consumes a considerable amount of mobile phase. After method conversion, the method can be accelerated to 22 minutes while meeting the system applicability requirements, achieving the effect of saving both time and mobile phase.

Similarly, "Ciwujia Capsules" are also included in the pharmacopoeia, which have the functions of nourishing qi and spleen, nourishing the kidneys and calming the nerves. Among them, the feature map focuses on five components including syringin. Using the original method takes 60 minutes, but after converting according to the 0512 principle, the time can be reduced to less than 13 minutes while meeting the system adaptability requirements of the original method.
