This study used a 990 micro gas chromatography system to simultaneously detect NH3, H2, N2, and H2O. Although the method of using Mollie chromatography columns for gas chromatography analysis of N2 and H2 is already very mature, the method for analyzing water and ammonia is not yet mature.

In previous studies, basic analysis of NH3 (concentration up to 20%) has been conducted using CP Volamine channels. During a six-month stability test, both the 990 micro gas chromatography system and the CP Volamine analysis channel demonstrated excellent performance and durability over prolonged operation [3]. The J&W CP Volamine chromatographic column used in the channel is a relatively non-polar column that can effectively analyze NH3 or other polar components. This chromatographic column adopts a unique deactivation process in the production process, which can provide higher quality NH3 peak shape compared to other chromatographic column chemical fillers or deactivation processes. Excellent peak symmetry can reduce detection limits, improve accuracy and precision. This study aims to demonstrate that the 990 micro gas chromatography system can effectively analyze 100% NH3 without affecting performance or stability.
