Application Example of Online Process Gas Chromatography
With the continuous advancement of technology, the scope of application of online process gas chromatography is also constantly expanding, and we can see application examples of online process gas chromatography in the following industries:
1. Natural gas constant analysis: using thermal conductivity detector, suitable for natural gas used in urban gas O2、N2、CH4、CO2、C2H6、C3H8、i-C40、n-C40、i-C50、 Constant analysis of components. The analysis results comply with the national standard GB10410.2-89.
2. Artificial gas analysis: using thermal conductivity detector, dual valve multi column system, automatic or manual injection, suitable for the determination of main components such as H2, O2, N2, CO2, CH4, C2H4, C2H6, C3H6 in artificial gas. The analysis results comply with the national standard.
3. Refinery gas analysis: Thermal conductivity and hydrogen flame ionization detectors are selected, packed columns and capillary columns are separated, and multi valve automatic switching and signal automatic switching are used to achieve one-time injection, multidimensional chromatographic analysis, and rapid analysis of components such as H2, O2, N2, CO2, CO, C10-C60, C2di-C4, and hydrocarbons above C6. The analysis results have good repeatability and are easy to operate, which can be compared with imported instruments from abroad.
4. Analysis of Benzene and Toluene in Automotive and Aviation Gasoline: Thermal conductivity detector or hydrogen flame ionization detector is selected, with dual columns connected in series, automatically switched by valves, and equipped with a blowback system to achieve qualitative and quantitative analysis of benzene and toluene in gasoline with one injection. The analysis results comply with the national standard GB17930-1999.
5. Gas chromatographic analysis of the hygienic standard of distilled liquor and prepared liquor: use the hydrogen flame ionization detector, GDX-102 packed column or FFAP large-diameter capillary column, external standard method (peak area) for quantitative analysis of methanol and fusel oil in Baijiu. The analysis results comply with the national standard GB/T5009.48-2003.
6. Food grade alcohol is detected using PEG-20M capillary column, FID detector, and internal standard method for trace components such as methanol and fusel oil in edible alcohol. The analysis results comply with the requirements of the national standard GB10343-2002.
7. Analysis of aldehydes, alcohols and esters in Baijiu. The use of capillary columns not only improves analysis efficiency, but also detects organic acids, providing more valuable information for complex brewing and fermentation processes. The analysis results comply with the national standard GB10345.7-89/GB10345.8-89.
8. Indoor air detection and analysis: A hydrogen flame ionization detector is selected, equipped with a thermal desorption sampler, packed column or capillary column. The chromatographic column selected according to the national standard GB50325-2001 can complete the detection of benzene, toluene, xylene and total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) in indoor air. The derivative gas chromatography method was used, which was derivatized with 2.4- * hydrazine, extracted with cyclohexane, separated by OV-17 and QF-1 mixed coated chromatography columns, and determined for formaldehyde in indoor air using an electron capture detector (ECD). Compared with the colorimetric method for formaldehyde determination, it has the advantages of sensitivity, accuracy, non-interference, and easy preservation of reagents.
