Spiral plate heat exchanger

purpose

  • Spiral plate heat exchangers are suitable for industries such as chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, food, solvents, light industry, textile, metallurgy, steel rolling, coking, etc.
  • Suitable for steam steam, vapor-liquid, liquid-liquid convective heat transfer, waste heat recovery, and can also be used for steam condensation and liquid evaporation heat transfer.


Structure and Characteristics

  • This device is made up of two steel plates rolled together, forming two uniform spiral channels. The two heat transfer media can flow in reverse, greatly enhancing the heat transfer effect. Even if the temperature difference between the two media is small, the ideal heat transfer effect can be achieved.
  • The connecting pipe on the shell adopts a tangential structure, which has low local resistance. Due to the uniform curvature of the spiral channel, the fluid flow in the equipment does not change direction significantly, resulting in low overall resistance. Therefore, the design flow rate can be increased to have high heat transfer capacity.
  • The end face of the spiral channel of Type I non detachable spiral plate heat exchanger is sealed by welding, thus having high sealing performance.
  • The structural principle of Type II and Type III detachable spiral plate heat exchangers is basically the same as that of non detachable heat exchangers. Type II has two channels that can be disassembled for cleaning, while Type III has one channel that can be disassembled for cleaning. It is particularly suitable for heat exchange with viscous and precipitated liquids and has a wide range of applications.
  • The nominal pressures of spiral plate heat exchangers are PN0.6, 1.0, 1.6, and 2.5 MPa (referring to the maximum working pressure that the channel can withstand). According to the material, it can be divided into carbon steel and stainless steel. When a single device cannot meet the usage requirements, a combination of multiple devices is suitable. (Parallel combination, series combination, hybrid combination) Users can choose according to their actual process conditions.
