A boiler is an energy converter that uses the heat energy released by fuel combustion or other heat energy to heat working fluid water or other fluids to a certain parameter.

The principle of a boiler is a thermal energy device used for energy conversion. The energy input to the boiler comes in the form of chemical energy from fuel, electrical energy, and thermal energy from high-temperature flue gas. After being converted by the boiler, it outputs steam, high-temperature water, or organic heat carriers with a certain amount of thermal energy.
