brief introduction

The ZNG-2 drilling fluid oil-water (solid phase) separation device is an instrument for separating and measuring the volume of water, oil, and solid phase in drilling fluid samples. Heat a known volume of drilling fluid sample in a still to evaporate its liquid phase components, then condense and collect them into a graduated cylinder. The liquid volume is directly determined from the readings of the oil and water phases in the graduated cylinder, and the total solid phase volume (suspended and dissolved) is obtained by subtracting the liquid phase volume from the total sample volume.

It is suitable for determining the solid content of general water-based drilling fluids.
