ZK-40AIt is a digital universal particle concentration handheld instrument based on the principle of laser scattering for monitoring the concentration of particulate matter in the air. It can collect and calculate the suspended particles in a specified range of air per unit volume, and then convert them into the mass content of the particulate matter contained in the air per unit volume.

This sensor adopts the principle of laser scattering. Even if the laser is irradiated on suspended particles in the air to generate scattering, and the scattered light is collected at a specific angle, the curve of the scattered light changing with time can be obtained. Then, the microprocessor uses the algorithm of Mie theory to obtain the equivalent particle size of the particles and the number of particles with different sizes per unit volume. The functional parts of the sensor are divided into block diagrams as shown in Figure 1.
