ZEISS O-SELECT One Button. One Truth. ZEISS O-SELECT Optical and contact coordinate measuring machines are gradually replacing manual measuring equipment such as angle measuring instruments, gauges, and profile projectors in production environments.
New intelligent ZEISS O-SELECT digital contour projector
In production environments, optical and contact coordinate measuring machines are gradually replacing manual measuring equipment such as angle measuring instruments, gauges, and contour projectors. However, the impact of operators on these manual measuring tools cannot be ignored. ZEISS O-SELECT can greatly reduce this impact. Due to its high degree of automation and ease of use, it can quickly complete traceable and reproducible complex measurements.
Batch measurement can be done with just one button
With just one button press, ZEISS O-SELECT can test the workpiece in the measurement program. The system can recognize the located workpiece and automatically load the corresponding program. Can automatically create a coordinate system. ZEISS O-SELECT can achieve autofocus and automatic lighting settings. This not only reduces the workload of the operator, but also ensures that the measurement process is not affected by human factors, achieving good repeatability. If necessary, the measuring machine can automatically output reliable measurement results or print them as reports.
fully automatic
- Workpiece positioning
- Start batch measurement
- Repeatable and traceable measurement results and automated outputs
application area
Whether used in automotive, electronics, or plastic processing, ZEISS O-SELECT can accurately provide the simplicity and reliability required in today's industrial environment. Digital contour projectors are particularly suitable for precise detection of distance, radius, or angle dimensions. Universal inspection workpieces include stamped and bent parts, injection molded parts, and laser cut workpieces.
Auto focus
Inaccurate focusing may result in measurement errors of several micrometers. Operators are prone to unintentional errors when manually focusing. To eliminate this error factor, ZEISS O-SELECT can automatically identify the characteristics of the tested workpiece and set the corresponding focus plane. In other words, it can eliminate the human error of the operator.
Telecentric optical system
The standard camera lens is based on the principle of central perspective: the farther the object is, the smaller the imaging on the sensor. The telephoto lens is different, as it does not change the magnification of the image when the object moves axially. This means that regardless of the distance of the object, its dimensional accuracy can be accurately measured.
Automatically provide optimal lighting
The success of optical measurement depends on whether the illumination is correct. To ensure that each feature is measured under optimal lighting conditions, ZEISS O-SELECT uses an automatically adjustable lighting system. This lighting system can automatically set for each feature, thereby eliminating all operator errors.
Eight segment double ring lamp for variable reflected light illumination
2 coaxial lamps (optional)
3 transmission lamps, used to provide maximum contrast
The lighting system consists of a transmissive lamp and a double ring lamp, with each ring of the double ring lamp divided into eight sections. The intensity of each segment of the transmission lamp and the double ring lamp will be automatically set, so as to achieve the best contrast based on the positioning of the workpiece's properties and features.
(Optional) Coaxial lamp
The optical system also provides coaxial illumination. Coaxial lighting is recommended for measuring deeper structures to avoid the effects of shadow masking.
