The Y-shaped double helix cone mixer is widely used in various industries such as chemical, metallurgical, food, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, coating, pigment, dye, pesticide, rubber feed, additive, refractory materials, fine chemical, new materials, electronic plastics, ceramics, mining, building materials, etc. for solid and "solid" (i.e. powder to powder), liquid to liquid, and powder to liquid combinations. This machine has a wide adaptability to mixed materials. It will not overheat thermosensitive materials, will not press feed or grind granular materials, and will not produce delamination or segregation when mixing materials with significant differences in weight and particle size. It also has good adaptability to the mixing of coarse, fine, and ultrafine particles, fibers, or flakes.
working principle
The rapid rotation of the two asymmetric spirals inside the mixer cylinder lifts the material upwards, forming two asymmetric spiral shaped material flows along the cylinder wall from bottom to top. The spiral revolution driven by the rotating arm causes the material outside the spiral to enter the spiral envelope to varying degrees. Some of the material is displaced and lifted, while the other is thrown out of the spiral, thus achieving continuous updating and diffusion of the material in the circumferential direction. The two streams of material lifted to the upper part then converge towards the central cavity, forming a downward material flow that fills the void at the bottom, thus forming a convective cycle. Due to the combination of the above movements, the material was uniformly mixed in a short period of time with high mixing accuracy.
structural characteristics
The YI type double helix conical mixer consists of a spray atomization device, a transmission part, a cylinder cover, a screw, a cylinder body, and a discharge valve.
1. Spray atomization device: The spray atomization device consists of a rotary joint and a spray component. The spray component is fixed on the lower end cover of the distribution box with a flange. The rotary joint and the spray component are connected in a movable manner, so that the rotary joint can be fixed on the pipeline.
2. Transmission part: The motion of the self rotating motor and the revolving motor is adjusted to a reasonable speed through worm gears and gears, and then transmitted to the screw to achieve both self rotation and revolving motion.
3. Cylinder cover part: The cylinder cover supports the entire transmission part, which is fixed on the cylinder cover with screws. The cylinder cover is equipped with a feeding port, observation port, cleaning port, and maintenance hole.
4. Spiral part: When two asymmetrically arranged spirals inside the cylinder move around the planet, they flip the material over a large range to quickly achieve uniform mixing.
5. Cylinder part: The cylinder has a conical structure and is used for material handling. The material can be discharged quickly, cleanly, without accumulation or dead corners.
6. Discharge valve: The discharge valve is installed at the bottom of the cylinder to control the material and discharge. The discharge valve can be divided into three structural forms: manual, pneumatic, and electric. A liquid discharge valve (slurry valve) can be installed according to user needs
