Do I need to empty the sample?

For MWDXRF analyzers such as Sindie, Clora, Signal, and Phoebe, it is recommended to empty all samples, including non-volatile samples. The Petra analyzer does not require exhaust, but if your standard operating procedures require it, exhaust is allowed. If venting the Petra sample, please ensure that the cup is vented at the 12 o'clock position (not the center) to prevent sample leakage.
