The heating medium is introduced into the shell jacket and two hollow blade shafts to heat and dry the material through conduction heating. The blade shaft structure varies for different materials.

The dual axis blade dryer is mainly used in processes such as drying, reaction, cooling, crystallization, evaporation, heating and disinfection, low-temperature calcination, etc. It is suitable for drying (cooling) various organic and inorganic materials with stable thermal sensitivity, as well as thermal sensitive materials under vacuum conditions, and can achieve multi use in one machine.

The dual axis blade dryer is a compact and highly efficient indirect heat exchange stirring equipment, mainly composed of an upper cover, a rotating shaft, a shell (including a jacket), a frame, and a driving device. The rotating shaft is the core component of this equipment, consisting of hollow blades and hollow shafts with special flow channels. The main equipment is installed horizontally (or obliquely). The material enters from the front end of the equipment, and the shell and rotating shaft form a small inclination angle with the horizontal plane. The product moves towards the discharge end by its own weight with the rotation of the rotating shaft. At the discharge end, the product flows out of the equipment through the overflow port and enters the next process. Heat is indirectly transferred to the material through the hollow blades of the rotating shaft, the hollow shaft, and the heating or cooling medium inside the shell jacket, thereby achieving the purpose of drying (cooling).

Blade drying (cooling) machines are divided into two types based on the different heat exchange media: steam (saturated steam or superheated steam) type and liquid (hot water, heat transfer oil, heat medium, refrigerant, softened cold water or chilled water) type. They can be operated continuously or intermittently, and the heat exchange medium (steam, heat transfer oil or water) is always separated from the product. According to the number of rotating axes, it is divided into single axis, double axis, and four axis propeller blades. According to different operating pressures, it is divided into vacuum, atmospheric pressure, and positive pressure types.
