Wax scale fungus - Microorganisms
| Product Name | Wax scale fungus - Microorganisms/Verticillum lecanii |
| alias | VL-15,BCBKL 0089 |
| Characteristic features | Colony white down shaped; Nutrient mycelium creeping, separated, branched, white; The conidiophores are upright and have simple short branches; The stem of the bottle is arranged in a circular pattern at the end of the conidiophores or lateral branches, with a slender stem and a base of 5-3 μ m; Spores are colorless, single spore, short ovate to ovoid in shape, round at both ends, forming sticky clusters that aggregate into a head shape. |
| main purpose | Used for teaching and scientific research, and can be used as a biopesticide for controlling whiteflies, aphids, and thrips. |
| Usage | Freeze dried powder: ① Prepare one test tube containing pre deoxygenated liquid culture medium; ② In the safety cabinet, burn the top of the ampoule with an alcohol lamp, quickly drip water and break it, then use tweezers to break it; ③ Suck the liquid culture medium into an ampoule, fully dissolve the bacterial powder, and then suck it back into the test tube; ④ Place the test tube under the corresponding culture conditions and wait for the strain to grow. |
| Precautions | Usage: ① Before activation, place the freezing tube in a low temperature and dry place to avoid bacterial decay; ② Kaifeng, reconstitution and other operations should be carried out aseptically; ③ If any abnormalities such as loose freezing tube cover or turbid solution are found, please stop using. Preservation: ① Select appropriate culture medium based on bacterial characteristics; ② After cultivation, take it out as soon as possible and store it in the refrigerator. Pay attention to the storage temperature of different bacteria, such as fungi and Vibrio cholerae, which should be stored at room temperature; ③ Record the bacterial identification results during storage, including growth status, colony characteristics, staining reactions, etc; ④ The strains are stored in two sets, one for preservation and passage, and the other for experimentation. Regularly transfer seeds and identify them every 3 generations. |
After-sales service
If there are any missing, damaged or other issues with the product (such as contamination, death, abnormal identification, etc.), promptly take photos or videos and contact technical personnel within the after-sales time limit. Propose solutions to specific problems, including technical guidance, reshipment, refund or return, etc;
After sales time limit:
(1) Freeze dried powder, slant strain, plate strain, and bacterial liquid strain for 15 days;
(2) Abnormal strain identification for 30 days;
(3) Plasmid for 30 days.
