1、 Technical principles
The water-cooled wall detection robot is based on magnetic attraction technology and multimodal detection principle, and achieves stable wall climbing operation through electromagnetic adsorption, flexible guide rails, or permanent magnet wheels. Its core modules include:
Magnetic suction system: using permanent magnet technology or electromagnetic magnets to adsorb onto metal walls, ensuring stable walking on vertical, inclined, or even inverted planes. For example, some robots combine magnetic wheels with magnetic chains to enhance vertical magnetic force, reduce horizontal resistance, and achieve 360 degree rotation detection.
Flexible guide rail system: Some models adopt a longitudinal and transverse bidirectional flexible guide rail architecture, which achieves bidirectional motion control through friction driven mechanisms, constructs a global coordinate system, and adapts to complex pipe row structures.
Multi modal detection unit: integrates various technologies such as electromagnetic ultrasonic thickness measurement, high-definition visual inspection, X-ray imaging, and oxide skin detection to meet different detection needs.
2、 Core functions
Non destructive thickness measurement: Equipped with an electromagnetic ultrasonic thickness measurement device, it can continuously and quickly measure the thickness of the pipe wall without the need for coupling agents, with an accuracy of ± 0.1mm, suitable for surface coking, floating rust and other working conditions.
High definition visual inspection: equipped with multiple zoom cameras and panoramic cameras, real-time transmission of high-definition images and data, supporting AI image analysis, can identify 0.2mm level surface defects (such as cracks, corrosion, bulges, etc.).
High pressure water cleaning: Some models are equipped with high-pressure water gun modules, with a cleaning pressure of up to 15MPa, effectively removing floating dust and coke on the surface of water-cooled walls, providing a clean surface for testing.
Accurate positioning: By using UWB positioning antenna or laser ranging technology, combined with visual assisted positioning, accurate correspondence between thickness measurement data and walking trajectory can be achieved, with a positioning accuracy of ± 0.1mm, and support for defect location QR code marking.
