Capable of adapting to different water quality conditions, whether it is clean water, sewage, or water containing certain impurities, it can perform relatively accurate measurements. Moreover, its maintenance is relatively simple. Due to its integrated structure, only the overall equipment needs to be operated during maintenance checks, without the need to separately handle multiple components, reducing maintenance difficulty and costs.

1、 Working principle

The water flow meter is mainly based on various physical principles to achieve accurate measurement of water flow rate. Common principles include electromagnetic induction and ultrasonic waves.

A water flow meter based on the principle of electromagnetic induction generates induced electromotive force according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction when conductive water flows through a magnetic field. The faster the water flow rate, the greater the induced electromotive force generated. By accurately measuring the magnitude of this induced electromotive force, the speed of the water flow can be accurately calculated, and the water flow rate can be obtained.

The water flow meter using ultrasonic principle measures the water flow velocity by utilizing the propagation time or frequency difference caused by the different water flow velocities when ultrasonic waves propagate in water. Ultrasonic waves originate from the transmitting probe and propagate through the water flow to the receiving probe. Due to the flow of water, the propagation path of ultrasonic waves will change. By measuring the time or frequency difference caused by this change, the velocity of the water flow can be calculated, and the final flow rate of the water can be determined.

2、 Structural characteristics

The water flow meter has obvious structural characteristics. It integrates measurement sensors, transmitters, and display devices into a unified housing, forming an integrated design.

This design brings many conveniences. Firstly, the installation is convenient and fast, without the need to separately install various components like some split flow meters, reducing the complexity and workload of installation and saving a lot of installation time. Secondly, the overall structure is compact and occupies a small space, making it suitable for various occasions with limited installation space, such as some narrow pipeline wells or compact industrial equipment interiors. Furthermore, due to its integrated structure, the connections between various components are tighter and more stable, reducing measurement errors caused by loose connections and improving measurement accuracy and reliability.

3、 Application Fields

The application fields of water flow meters are very extensive. In the urban water supply system, it can accurately measure the flow of residential water, industrial water, etc., providing accurate data support for water metering, water resource allocation, etc., ensuring the rationality and fairness of water supply.

In terms of industrial production, whether it is the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food and beverage industries, as long as it involves the use of water and flow control, it can come in handy.
