Overview:
WXTN-1011 Street Lamp Cable Fault TesterIt is a specialized testing instrument developed by our company based on the fault characteristics of streetlight cables. It is a superior product for testing streetlight cable faults. Can quickly test for short circuits, open circuits, and grounding faults in streetlight cables. After several years of upgrades and replacements, it has become easier to use and more accurate to test. One click operation, tedious operation of similar products. Just one operation is enough to master everything. Equivalent to a tool type instrument, it can be used without training.
This instrument adopts a microcomputer central processing unit and a dedicated integrated circuit. Its characteristics are high receiving sensitivity, small static drift, strong anti-interference ability, stable operation, and high accuracy. The instrument is more robust and durable, thereby reducing the repair rate of the instrument. The instrument is powered by a large capacity battery, which gives it the advantage of longer battery life. The A-frame and its electronic circuit board adopt an integrated design, while the same industry's split design avoids the trouble of wiring. At the same time, it also reduces the incidence of instrument failures.
WXTN-1011 Street Lamp Cable Fault Tester
1、 Basic composition and main purpose
This instrument consists of the following three parts:
Transmitter: Automatically tests the ground impedance of the streetlight cable and sends a test signal to the tested streetlight cable.
Routing receiver: Receive signals near the streetlight cable and detect the routing and burial depth of the streetlight cable.
Insulation receiver (A-frame): detects ground insulation faults in streetlight cables.
2、 Technical indicators
1. Detection distance<20Km 2. Detection depth ≤ 3m
3. Routing error<5cm 4. Positioning error<5cm
5. Sensing fault point distance ≤ 30m 6. Positioning range: ≤ 5M Ω
3、 Operating instructions
3.1 Preparation before detection
1. Check the battery level
Transmitter: After turning on, it displays the battery voltage. If it is below 11.5V, it is recommended to charge it.
Insulated receiver: After turning on, there will be a few seconds of battery display. If the display is below 5 bars or there is no display, the battery should be replaced.
Routing receiver: When the receiving sensitivity decreases, the battery should be replaced.
2. Suspended cable at both ends
In general, the end of the tested street lamp cable is disconnected from the ground. Simply disconnect the starting end of the cable from the distribution cabinet (the neutral wire grounding must be untied).
3.2 Instructions for using the transmitter
Attention: When the transmitter is working, the peak output voltage can reach 100V (open circuit voltage). Do not touch the output terminal with your hands to prevent electric shock. Do not connect the transmitter to a live cable, and do not short-circuit the output directly. As shown in Figure 1
1. Please turn off the transmitter before connecting it.
2. Insert the red and black output wires into the corresponding output sockets on the transmitter.
3. The red output line is connected to the faulty core wire of the street lamp cable. Be careful not to connect the clamp of the red output line to leaves, grass, mud, etc., otherwise it may cause reading errors.
4. Pull the black output line in the opposite direction (or perpendicular direction) to the street light cable. Suggest inserting it in the opposite direction to the fault point, the farther the better.
5. Insert the ground wire into the ground, clamp the clamp of the black output line onto the ground wire, and ensure good contact.
6. Turn on the power switch of the transmitter, and the display screen * will first show the battery voltage, and then automatically display the impedance value on the line. The severity of the fault can be determined based on the display of the transmitter, and the smaller the resistance value, the more severe the fault. In general, faults between 0 and 100K Ω are considered severe, faults between 100K and 500K are considered moderate, and faults above 1M Ω are considered minor.
