BOD is not only an important indicator for evaluating water quality and wastewater treatment effectiveness, but also an important basis for planning and designing wastewater treatment equipment.

BreathThe pressure gauge method is a simple and reliable way to measure BOD. OxiTop is a BOD measurement system based on this principle. Microorganisms in water samples consume oxygen, and the CO2 produced is absorbed by NaOH, forming negative pressure in a closed measuring bottle. OxiTop directly reads the mg/L BOD measurement value by measuring the pressure change.
