Working Principle:

The controller adopts the principle of electromechanical level control and measures the material level in contact. When there is no material in the blade part of the silo, the level indicator is powered on, the indicator light is on, and the blade rotates counterclockwise; When there is material in the blade part of the silo, the rotation of the blade is blocked, and the control signal is converted, then the power supply of the level indicator motor is disconnected. This state is maintained until there is no material in the blade part, and the level indicator automatically resets. The motor power is turned on, the indicator light is on, and the blade starts to rotate, and the control signal is switched.

Tips for selection:

Because different occasions and media have different requirements for the correct measurement of material level, in order to use the anti rotation level gauge correctly, we should pay attention to the following points when purchasing.

To meet the needs of certain permeable or highly adhesive materials (such as asphalt, concrete, etc.), a top mounted vertical installation can be selected (with a measurement depth of up to 10 meters or more), and users can choose to extend the soft or hard shaft according to different measurement depths. When measuring depths greater than 1 meter, an extended flexible shaft should be selected. When the measurement depth is ≤ 1 meter, a hard and long axis can be used.

Note: Due to the lack of contact between the material and the output shaft root of the level gauge during top mounted installation, there are fewer malfunctions during operation. Top mounted vertical installation should be used as much as possible when the installation position allows.

2. When installing on the side, it is also possible to customize an extended version (with a stainless steel sheath and an extended shaft). The actual insertion depth should be specified when ordering, and we will design and manufacture according to the actual needs of the user.

3. Check the blade specifications, which are usually matched according to the specific gravity of sandstone materials when leaving the factory. When the specific gravity of the tested medium is light, larger blades should be selected. When detecting very light media such as wood fibers, specific blades must be selected.

Common faults:

1. Motor malfunction

The main manifestation is the abnormal noise of the motor when the spindle does not rotate or when the spindle is idling. The motor is an important component of the resistance rotary level switch, and its importance to the resistance rotary level switch is similar to the importance of the heart to humans. The solution to a motor malfunction is to replace it with a new one. So the reliability of the motor is directly related to the quality of the resistance rotary level switch. When choosing a resistance rotary level switch, it is necessary to choose a product with high configuration reliability and long service life for the motor.

2. Spindle jamming

Unqualified fit dimensions between the spindle and its components can lead to spindle jamming. When the spindle is stuck, there may be idle spindle accompanied by abnormal noise, or the tension spring may stretch due to resistance, which can easily lead to false alarms and even reduce the service life of the product. To solve the problem of spindle jamming in the anti rotation level switch, on the one hand, it is required that the machining dimensions of the components be qualified and the raw materials be strictly controlled; On the other hand, strictly assemble according to the requirements of the process documents to ensure sufficient lubrication of the components.

3. Micro switch malfunction

The rotary level switch has two micro switches, one normally open and one normally closed. Micro switch failure can cause the motor to stop running or the switching signal output to be incorrect after the blade touches the material. The micro switch has malfunctioned and can only be replaced with a new one. Due to the fact that micro switches are also a very important component of resistive rotary level switches, it is important to check whether the resistive rotary level switch is equipped with a reliable and branded micro switch when purchasing it.
