Overview

VMB gas valve distribution box, abbreviated as VMB, is a valve box that embeds multiple distribution pipes and exhaust pipes to achieve high-purity gas or liquid diversion. It allows gas to be distributed from a single source to multiple applications, and for each usage point, the pressure can be individually regulated to meet individual application needs, making it a high-precision gas device.

Product Details

VMB gas valve distribution boxIt is a valve box that embeds multiple distribution pipes and exhaust pipes to achieve high-purity gas or liquid diversion. It allows gas to be distributed from a single source to multiple applications, and for each usage point, the pressure can be individually regulated to meet individual application needs, making it a high-precision gas device.

VMB has manual distribution boxes and semi (fully) automatic distribution boxes, and the difference between the two lies in whether they are controlled through PLC panels and the amount of system functionality.

VMB is designed and manufactured for use as a single gas, and cannot allow two gases to be used together. Specially designed for the supply of corrosive, toxic and other hazardous gases, wouldn't it be very dangerous to disassemble them? Of course not, our VMB has both circular cleaning and vacuum pumping functions. It is possible to safely disassemble every part of the VMB without any hazardous gas leakage, and it can also clean or vacuum extract a specific gas distribution pipe separately without affecting the gas supply to other application points.

VMB gas valve distribution boxFunction and disassembly of semi-automatic distribution box:

1、 Valve Manifold Box (VMB) hardware configuration
1. Human machine interface: serves as the control and communication interface between humans and controllers.
On the one hand, it can display the current status of the system, and on the other hand, it can also accept instructions issued by operators as confirmation of system operation.
2. PLC: The processing center for overall control.
3. Electromagnetic valve: controls the opening and closing of pneumatic valves.
(The solenoid valve is of the adjustable type and can be forcibly opened according to demand)
4. Interruption button: When the system encounters an abnormality, press this button to close the pneumatic valve on the panel.
5. LED indicator light: It indicates the current status of the system by lighting up.
System normal: (Normal)
Insufficient stock: (Low Quantity)
Abnormal alarm: (Shutdown) Or (Warning)
6. Purple/infrared flame sensor: It activates when a fire is detected and transmits the message to the PLC for processing.
7. Differential pressure setting switch: When the differential pressure between the box and atmospheric pressure does not reach the set value, it will activate and transmit the message to the PLC for processing.
8. Differential pressure gauge: displays the differential pressure between the box and atmospheric pressure.
9. Relay: According to circuit design, it can be used as an output for control or contact.
10. Power Supply: As the power supply used in the control circuit is DC 24V, a Power Supply conversion is required.
11. Temperature switch: When the temperature of the box is sensed to be higher than the set value, the message is transmitted to the PLC for processing.

12. I.A Overflow Switch: When the hose driving the pneumatic valve becomes loose or bursts, causing excessive flow, the output signal will be notified.

2、 Introduction to safety functions of Valve Manifold Box (VMB):
1. Emergency stop button: Press the emergency stop button to turn off all pneumatic valves.
2. Remote emergency stop control: When the remote emergency stop action is driven, all pneumatic valves can be closed.
3. I.A pressure switch: When the driving pressure of the pneumatic valve is insufficient, it will output an alarm notification. Set to 0.4~0.63 Mpa.
4. Over temperature switch: When the ambient temperature of the box is detected to be higher than the set value, it will output an alarm notification and automatically close all valves. Set the temperature to 70 ℃.
5. Purple/infrared flame sensor: When a fire is detected and activated, it will output an alarm notification and automatically close all valves.
6. Overflow switch: When the flow in the pipeline is too high and drives the overcurrent switch (EFS), it will output an alarm notification and automatically close the valve on the user side.
7. Differential pressure switch: When the pressure difference inside the box is too small, an alarm notification will be output. Set the pressure difference to be above 50 Pa. When the pressure difference is insufficient, it is easy for gas to diffuse out of the box when gas leaks out. Therefore, please pay attention to whether the pressure difference between the box and the atmosphere is sufficient before opening the box door.

Due to its original design intention and applicable gas, it is widely used in industries such as Semiconductor, TFT, SunSolar, LED, research institutes, university laboratories, etc. For example, currently, due to increasingly advanced processes, there is a growing demand for high flow specialty gas supply, which has led to the development of BSGS systems. To achieve stable supply, one VMB will be allocated to multiple VMBs.

The gas distribution box VMB and special gas cabinet play a crucial role in the special gas system. VMB is responsible for transporting gas from the gas source to the point of use, while the special gas cabinet is responsible for storing and managing gas cylinders to ensure the safe use and storage of gas. The roles and functions of these two devices complement each other, cooperate with each other, and ensure the normal operation of the special gas system.

In a special gas system, the gas distribution box VMB and the special gas cabinet are usually coordinated through a control system. The control system can regulate the valves of the gas distribution box VMB by monitoring the gas flow rate and pressure, ensuring that the gas is delivered correctly to the required location. The control system can also monitor the gas cylinder inventory and safety status of the special gas cabinet to ensure the safe use and storage of gas cylinders.
