Cr12 mold steel

Advantages: High strength, high wear resistance. Specially designed for high-pressure powder compression molds. It has the characteristics of high hardness, pressure resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance. After high-temperature quenching, the surface appears black. It is the best choice for laboratory powder compression molds. Cr12 steel is quenched at 950~980 ℃ and has an oil cooled hardness of 60~65HRC

Disadvantage: After stopping use for a period of time, it will rust. You can apply oil or put it in an oil bucket to prevent rusting. (Both engine oil and butter are acceptable)
