Ocean SR4 is a high-resolution spectrometer with high-speed spectral acquisition and excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) performance, suitable for various applications in the ultraviolet visible near-infrared range. The Ocean SR4 uses CCD array detectors and robust electronic devices, making it suitable for both production lines and laboratory settings. Even in challenging industrial environments, strong thermal wavelength stability and low stray light performance ensure reliable and reproducible measurement results.
Ocean SR4 Communication
Each Ocean SR4 is fully compatible with OceanView spectroscopy software and includes OceanDirect, a powerful cross platform development package with application programming interfaces (APIs) for ocean optics. Users can optimize spectrometer performance and access key data for analysis based on OceanDirect's function library.
In addition, Ocean SR4 supports multiple triggering modes, enabling operations such as synchronizing spectral acquisition with external sources (such as pulse lamps) or timed spectral acquisition to meet certain sampling conditions. Meanwhile, it supports High Speed Average Mode (HSAM). High speed averaging mode is a hardware accelerated signal averaging tool that can significantly improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) per unit time, resulting in higher quality spectra and more accurate measurement results.
A small amount of protein contamination in DNA solution can also have a significant impact on UV absorbance. In this case, Ocean SR4 exhibits good linearity up to 2AU.
Other functions of Ocean SR4
The Ocean SR4 model covers different wavelength ranges within 220-1050 nm, with optional slits of 5-200 μ m. The spectrometer has a compact structure, wide applications, and is compatible with ocean optical light sources and accessories. The applications of Ocean SR4 include measuring different spectral peaks of plasma and emission sources, as well as detecting absorbance in DNA, proteins, and other biological samples.
