KD-150 is an advanced digital ultrasonic flaw detector, which uses large-screen high-resolution LCD displayer and international advanced digital integration technology. The performance indicators reach the domestic advanced level. The instrument has complete functions, stable performance and easy operation. Product Introduction

KD-150 is an advanced digital ultrasonic flaw detector, which uses large-screen high-resolution LCD displayer and international advanced digital integration technology. The performance indicators reach the domestic advanced level. The instrument has complete functions, stable performance and easy operation. The instrument is used to detect internal defects of various materials (steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, cemented carbide, castings, forgings, composite materials, and welds, etc.), and can  detect defects effectively such as pores, cracks, looseness, inclusions, and unwelded. It has a comprehensive and practical function and is widely used in pressure vessel manufacturing, metal steel structures, ship manufacturing, molds, machinery manufacturing, electricity, chemicals, petroleum machinery, automobiles, railways, aviation, metallurgy, universities and other industries.

 

Transmit pulse

Pulse generator: Square wave pulse generator

Repeat frequency: Manually continuously adjust the pulse repetition frequency to identify error echoes. This type of echo is caused by multiple reflections in low-attenuation materials (i.e., it has the function of eliminating phantom waves)

Pulse amplitude: that is, emission intensity, high, medium and low three-speed selection, suitable for a wide range of probes

Pulse width: (100-500)ns continuous adjustment, matching probes with different frequency

Damping matching: three-level high and low gear selection, meeting different working requirements of sensitivity and resolution

Filter bands: high (4-10MHz), medium (1-4MHz), low (0.2-1MHz) and wide (0.2-20MHz) selection, match different frequency probes for accurate flaw detection

 

Amplify the reception

Real-time hardware sampling: 200MHz, waveform height fidelity

Detection method: full detection, positive and negative detection, radio frequency wave display

Gate signal: with incoming gate and loss gate, peak reading inside the gate, peak memory inside the gate

Gain: Total gain amount is 110dB, set to 0.0dB, 0.1dB, 2dB, 6dB step values

Automatic gain: Automatically adjust the echo to any threshold height, the curve function also includes automatic gain of amplitude

Echo suppression: 0%-99%

 

Flaw detection function

Probe type: single, double, penetrating

Crude memory: Real-time search of the highest wave of defects in the gate

AVG curve: Practical AVG curve, automatic calculation of defect diameter size (3 times outside the near field area)

Sensitivity calculation: Flaw detection of straight probe forging or casting  adjusts flaw detection sensitivity according to material thickness automatically

DAC curve: DAC weld curve is  generated automatically, and custom flaw detection process can be generated based on actual weld workpieces.

Defect positioning: defect level value L, depth value Y, sound range value S, sound wave transmission time value T and amplitude height percentage

Defect quantification: The quantitative value of the weld SL is read out in real time, and the defect equivalent diameter is automatically displayed by forgings and castings.

Defect Qualitization: Verification by echo envelope waveform and manual empirical judgment
