Overview

The ultra-high temperature alloy oxidation analyzer TAG is the world's most accurate thermogravimetric analyzer, and its breakthrough design of symmetrical graphite furnace body can eliminate buoyancy effects. Under long-term oxidation, reduction, and corrosive atmospheres, it ensures unparalleled stability and accuracy. TAG is particularly suitable for professional thermogravimetric research and experiments in high-temperature oxidation and corrosive atmospheres. Users usually use TAG as a reference.

Ultra high temperature alloy oxidation analyzerThe main characteristics are:
(1) The high-precision thermal balance TAG is equipped with Setram's professional mechanical photoelectric thermal balance (EYRAUD), which ensures that the instrument is not affected by external temperature and vibration, and can test temperatures up to 2400 ℃. Maintain a resolution of up to 0.002 μ g and extremely low baseline drift at high temperature during long-term high-temperature oxidation/cycling tests. Currently, the vast majority of thermogravimetric instruments on the market are designed based on a single working furnace structure, which inevitably leads to baseline drift caused by buoyancy effects.
(2) However, using the method of "deducting blank" to eliminate buoyancy effects is unscientific for high-temperature and long cycle oxidation cycle tests, as it cannot guarantee that the buoyancy generated by the blank test will be the same as the original test.
(3) The "symmetrical dual furnace body" design of TAG allows for synchronous use of the "reference position" and "sample grade" to maintain the same experimental conditions during testing. Ensure that there is the same buoyancy effect in both furnace bodies during the experiment, and after corresponding compensation treatment, the influence of buoyancy effect on the test results can be eliminated.
(4) For high-temperature oxidation/corrosion research, the contact between atmosphere and sample surface is an important factor that needs to be paid attention to in kinetic research. For metal samples, TAG uses hanging wires to directly suspend the sample on the balance, thereby ensuring the largest contact area between atmosphere and sample. For powder and other solid samples, TAG offers a variety of suspended crucible options. Corrosive atmosphere, humid atmosphere, long-term cyclic oxidation.
