At present, the conventional QJ44 double arm DC bridge is commonly used for measuring contact resistance in power systems. However, the test current of this type of bridge is only m, making it difficult to detect the defect of reduced cross-sectional area of the circuit conductor. When measuring the contact resistance of high-voltage switch conductive circuits, the measured value is several times larger due to the influence of oil film and oxide layer between the contacts, and cannot truly reflect the contact resistance value. To this end, the Ministry of Electric Power standard SD301-88 "Code for Handover and Preventive Testing of AC 500kV Power Equipment" and the new version of "Code for Preventive Testing of Power Equipment" stipulate that the measured current of contact resistance of circuit breakers and isolating switches shall not be less than 100A DC to ensure accurate test results.
