Overview
A plunger valve is composed of valve body, valve cover, valve stem, plunger, hole holder, sealing ring, handwheel and other parts (as shown in the figure). When the handwheel rotates, the valve stem drives the plunger to reciprocate up and down in the middle of the hole frame to complete the opening and closing function of the valve.

Structure and characteristics of U41SM flange plunger valve
The plunger valve adopts interference fit between the plunger and the sealing ring in the valve. By adjusting the flange bolts in the cover, the lateral force generated by the compression of the sealing ring is sealed with the hole surface in the valve body and the outer circle of the plunger, thereby ensuring the sealing performance of the valve, eliminating internal leakage, and achieving rapid opening and closing of the valve with small opening torque.

Installation and maintenance
The plunger valves produced by our company are tested, accepted, and used according to ZBJ16006 before leaving the factory. Only the exterior and cavity need to be cleaned, and there is no need to disassemble, wash, or replace them.
This plunger valve can be installed at any position, and the direction of medium flow is indicated by the arrow on the valve body.
After a period of use, if there is wear and leakage on the sealing ring, the valve must be closed first, and then the middle flange bolts should be slightly tightened evenly until there is no leakage. When replacing them at the same time, precautions should be taken to prevent cracks and damage to the plunger and the newly installed sealing ring.
In pipelines with large temperature differences between hot and cold alternation in a short period of time, plunger valves cannot be used.
