Type II detachable spiral plate heat exchanger
Type II detachable spiral plate heat exchanger
During the use or shutdown of spiral plate heat exchangers, we need to do a good job of maintenance and upkeep in order to effectively protect and use them, and reduce losses. If this work is not done well, it is easy to cause the heat exchanger to malfunction and result in losses. However, when it is shut down or cleaned, there are some things to pay attention to and should not be blindly operated to avoid unnecessary trouble. What are the specific details? You will know from the following content.
1. Precautions during shutdown
The anti-corrosion problem of spiral plate heat exchangers has always been a concern for us. During maintenance, it is necessary to remove all corrosive media from dead corners and keep the surface clean and dry. This is because if the heat exchanger is in a humid environment and there are dirt on the surface, corrosion is prone to occur. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent dripping and moisture. When it is shut down, it should be inspected for corrosion. If the paint falls off, it should be repaired in a timely manner to prevent the situation from worsening.
2. Precautions for cleaning
(1) When the spiral plate heat exchanger is under heat, pressure, or carrying liquid, or during operation, it is strictly prohibited to open the heat exchanger.
(2) The flushing of the spiral plate heat exchanger should be done with clean water, and no other water should be used.
(3) The steam temperature for processing nitrile gaskets should not exceed 132 ℃, while the steam temperature for processing EPDM rubber gaskets should not exceed 177 ℃.
(4) If a cleaning medium containing chlorine solution is used to clean the heat exchanger, a low concentration should be used, and the cleaning time for the plates should be short, with a contact time of no more than 10 minutes. The temperature of the solution should not exceed 37 ℃.
(5) Use a centrifugal pump to keep the cleaning solution circulating and do not use any other equipment.
(6) The plates of the spiral plate heat exchanger cannot be cleaned with hydrochloric acid. After cleaning it with a chemical solution, it must be rinsed thoroughly with clean water without any residue.
