The working principle mainly involves electromagnetics and fluid control. The following is a detailed description of its working principle:
1、 Structure Overview
It is mainly composed of valve body, electromagnet, valve core (also known as moving iron core), spring, seal and other parts. There is a sealed cavity inside the valve body, which is provided with through holes at different positions. These through holes are respectively connected to different oil or gas pipelines. The valve core is located inside the cavity and its position is controlled by the attraction or release of an electromagnet, thereby changing the opening and closing state of the fluid channel.
2、 Working principle
Power on status:
When the electromagnetic coil is energized, electromagnetic force is generated. This electromagnetic force will attract the valve core (moving iron core) to move towards the direction of the electromagnet.
The movement of the valve core will change the state of the fluid channel. Specifically, the valve core will move to a certain position, causing the originally blocked fluid channel to open or the originally opened channel to close. In the BURKERT 6011 solenoid valve, there is usually an oil inlet (or air inlet) that is normally open, while the oil outlet (or exhaust) is controlled to open and close by the movement of the valve core.
When the oil discharge hole (or exhaust hole) is opened, hydraulic oil (or gas) will enter the valve body through the oil inlet hole, and then flow out through the opened oil discharge hole, pushing the mechanical device to work.
Power off status:
When the electromagnetic coil is powered off, the electromagnetic force disappears. At this point, the valve core will return to its initial position under the action of spring force.
The initial position is usually the state where the valve core blocks the oil discharge hole (or exhaust hole), thereby cutting off the fluid channel. In this way, hydraulic oil (or gas) cannot flow out through the oil discharge hole, and the mechanical device stops working.
3、 Characteristics and Applications
Features: It has the characteristics of simple structure, sensitive response, and high control accuracy. It can work normally under complex working conditions such as vacuum, negative pressure, and zero pressure, but the diameter generally does not exceed 25mm. In addition, the solenoid valve also has corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and other properties, and is suitable for various media.
