The oxygen index of rubber insulation board refers to the lowest oxygen concentration that can maintain the continuous combustion of rubber insulation board. The higher the oxygen index, the better the flame retardant performance of rubber insulation board. On the contrary, if the oxygen index is greater than 29, the rubber insulation board will self extinguish when placed in air. If the oxygen index is greater than 35, the rubber insulation board is basically difficult to burn in air. Secondly, flame retardant additives are added to the rubber sheet to isolate air and flammable gases during combustion, thereby improving the flame retardant performance of the rubber sheet. Correct use of glue
1. Shake the container before use to make the glue evenly distributed. During actual installation, use a small can of glue to prevent it from evaporating too quickly. If necessary, pour the large can into the small can and seal the can mouth when not in use.
2. Use a short and hard brush.
3. Apply a thin and uniform layer of specialized adhesive to the bonding surfaces at both ends of the material.
4. The natural drying time of the special adhesive is 310 minutes, and the length of time depends on the grade of the adhesive, the temperature and humidity of the atmosphere. Exposure time exceeding 20 minutes is invalid.
5. When using, wait for the glue to dry naturally. The correct method for measuring dryness is the "finger touch method". Use your fingers to touch the adhesive surface. If your fingers do not stick to the material surface and there is no feeling of sticking to your hands, then you can proceed with bonding.
6. When bonding, simply align and grip the two surfaces of the adhesive interface for a while.
7. If the placement time is too long, resulting in the two joint surfaces not being sticky when pressed together, please repeat step 26.
8. Normally, each kilogram of rubber adhesive can be applied to two square meters of bonding surface.
9. Usually, specialized adhesives cannot be used below 5 ℃. When working in an environment of 5 ℃ and 10 ℃, please place the adhesive indoors at a temperature of 20 ℃ and remove it when needed.
10. When connecting two materials under pressure, there is no need to wait for the glue to dry. The wet bonding method is used. First, place the materials at the installation site, apply glue to the interface of the materials, adjust the position of the two materials correctly, and soon they will be firmly bonded according to your designed position.
11. Check if the adhesive and anti rust paint protecting the iron pipe are firmly bonded.
