The magnetic flux leakage detector INTROCOR M-150 is designed for non-destructive testing of ferrous steel plates, such as corrosion and cracks on tank bottom plates, tank walls, and tank tops. The scanner can detect internal and surface defects in steel plates and determine the location of the defects. Even when non-metallic coatings are applied on the steel plate, detection can still be achieved. The INTROCOR M-150 includes a strong permanent magnet to magnetize the steel plate. If there are defects in the steel plate, such as corrosion and cracks, the magnetic flux leakage on the steel plate will usually change, and the sensor will record this change. Sensors transmit signals to personal computers and process them through embedded software.
Product Introduction
INRTOCOR M-150 is a reliable and effective device used to detect the integrity of above ground storage tanks. This instrument can detect defects such as transverse cracks, pitting, and general corrosion. In addition, the actual thickness of the steel plate and the coating thickness can be measured. The design of the scanner allows for inspection near the weld seam position. The gap between the stimulus and the steel plate, as well as the gap between the sensor and the steel plate, can be adjusted. The gap between the sensor and the steel plate can be adjusted. The air gap between the sensor and the board is adjustable, thus achieving optimal sensitivity to defects and protecting scanner components from damage. The ergonomic design makes the instrument easier to operate.
The instrument includes a magnetic flux leakage scanner and an industrial tablet computer, which controls device operation, stores data, and downloads and analyzes data using Wintrocor software. The tablet can be fixed on the main handle and connected to the scanner through a short cable. Alternatively, the tablet can be located far away from the scanner and connected via a 10 meter cable. The following information can be used as test results:
1.Scan and identify individual (multiple) boards;
2.The remaining thickness trajectory of the steel plate;
3.The thickness trajectory of the protective coating;
4.The location of the defect - inside or on the surface of the board;
5.Draw the entire target map, such as tank bottom defect identification.
IKITROCOR M-150 has been proven to be a cost-effective, easy to operate, accurate, and reliable method for detecting steel plates for tank bottom plates, tank tops, tank walls, and other purposes.
