Working principle:
This instrument uses the beta ray method. Beta rays are a high-speed electron flow that, when it penetrates matter, is partially absorbed, resulting in a decrease in intensity. Under certain conditions, the magnitude of its attenuation is only related to the mass of the absorbing substance, and is independent of other physical properties of the absorbing substance (such as particle material, color, luster, shape, etc.), so it can directly measure the mass concentration of atmospheric particulate matter. This instrument uses low-energy C14 as a beta ray source, and the rays pass through clean filter paper and filter paper with particulate matter collected twice before and after particulate matter collection. Based on the change in absorption of beta rays, the mass of particulate matter is calculated using Lambert Beer's law.

Adopting one of the recommended methods by the national central station, the β - ray+DHS (dynamic heating system) method.
The instrument is designed according to the requirements of the newly issued standard HJ 653-2013, with a concentration unit of μ g/m3 and a minimum display unit of 0.1 μ g/m3 for higher accuracy.
The instrument adopts a sampling and continuous detection method at the same position, fundamentally solving the measurement error caused by moving paper tape.
The instrument is equipped with multiple sensors that can automatically determine the load on the filter paper and automatically move the paper when the load reaches the rated value.
The flow measurement of the instrument adopts digital sensors, and the flow control part adopts PID precise control regulating valves to accurately control the inlet flow of the cutter to be stable at 16.67L/min at outdoor temperatures (-30~60) ℃.
◆ It has outdoor temperature and humidity measurement capabilities and uses digital transmission to ensure the reliability of measurement, calculation, and control.
The instrument has wireless remote transmission function (optional), which can remotely monitor various parameters inside the instrument at the same time.
