Precautions for using T6 spectrophotometer:
  
1. When measuring, it is forbidden to place reagents or liquid substances on the surface of the instrument. If there is a solution overflow or other reasons that dirty the sample tank, it should be cleaned as soon as possible.
2. After the experiment, pour out the solution from the colorimetric dish, then rinse the dish with distilled water or organic solvent until clean, and air dry it upside down.
  
T6 spectrophotometer maintenance:
  
1) When the pointer type instrument is not powered on, the pointer of the electric meter must be at the zero mark. If this is not the case, mechanical zeroing is required.
  
2) After using the colorimetric dish, please rinse it immediately with distilled water and wipe off any water stains with a clean and soft cloth to prevent damage to the surface finish and affect the transmittance of the colorimetric dish.
  
3) Operators should not easily manipulate light bulbs and reflector lights to avoid affecting light efficiency.
  
The main items of T6 spectrophotometer calibration have an impact on the analysis results:
1) Wavelength accuracy
The principle of spectrophotometry requires that the monochromatic light irradiated on the sample cell must correspond to the wavelength of a certain absorption peak in the sample absorption spectrum. Due to manufacturing and adjustment errors in the instrument, there is a certain degree of error between the actual wavelength of monochromatic light and the wavelength reading value of the instrument. The vast majority of the main absorption peaks in the sample have a certain width, and the wavelength accuracy requirement allows for a wider width. However, when the absorption peak width is small and the edges on both sides of the absorption peak are relatively steep, the influence of wavelength accuracy must be taken into account.
2) Accuracy of absorbance
Obviously, the larger the error in transmittance or absorbance, the less reliable the test results will be, which will affect the accuracy of the test data
