The basic components of these Rexroth WE type directional valves are a housing (1), one or two electronic coils (2), a control spool (3), and a return spring (4). In the event of a power outage, the control valve core (3) is fixed in the center or initial position (excluding model "O") by a reset spring (4). The control valve core (3) is activated by an electronic coil (2) with wet pins.
The force of the electronic coil (2) acts on the control valve core (3) through the push rod (5) and pushes the latter from its rest position to the desired end position. This can achieve the required flow direction from P to A and from B to T, or from P to B and from A to T.
After the electronic coil (2) is powered off, the reset spring (4) pushes the control spool (3) back to its resting position.
Manual emergency operation (6) allows for manual switching of valves without energizing the coil.
To ensure normal operation, make sure to fill the pressure chamber of the coil with hydraulic oil.
