Overview

The structure of the American PARKER proportional valve is a new type of hydraulic control device. On ordinary pressure valves, flow valves, and directional valves, proportional electromagnets are used instead of the original control parts to continuously and proportionally control the pressure, flow rate, or direction of oil flow remotely based on the input electrical signal. Proportional valves generally have pressure compensation performance, and the output pressure and flow rate can be unaffected by load changes.

Product Details

Parker Hannifin Inc is a comprehensive company specializing in motion d control components and system control. Founded by L. Parker in 1918, the company entered the hydraulic and pneumatic industry in 1924, starting with automobiles and related products. In 1957, Hannifin Inc's cylinder and valve manufacturing department was purchased and developed into the company under its current name. It has over 2000 production sites in 44 countries worldwide, employs 48000 people, generates annual sales of $6 billion, has 7500 sales and outlets worldwide, and has 400000 customers and affiliated units. PARKER uses various hydraulic and pneumatic products to form over 2600 types of main engines, with the automotive and aviation industries accounting for over 1100 of them. The company's performance from 2003 to the end of June had a total annual sales revenue of 6.4 billion US dollars and an operating profit of 37.577 million US dollars. In the past seven years, PARKER has continuously acquired 50 companies (MdA), and in the past two years alone, it has acquired 8 more companies and institutions. In 2001, the company purchased Commercial Intertech, a US commercial company that produces hydraulic components for industrial vehicles/agricultural machinery, with a total investment of $360 million and assumed $170 million in the company's liabilities.

Structure of PARKER Proportional Valve in the United States

Pilot operated proportional directional valves are used to control flow. This valve has integrated electronic components, and the position of the main stage valve core is adjustable. A typical application is: precise flow control and achievable flow regulation, with valve core position monitoring for fast/low-speed operation, used for press control, dynamic position adjustment, and pressure/flow closed-loop systems. Technical features: small leakage, high frequency response, large oil flow capacity, accurate fault diagnosis, mechanical zero adjustment of zero cover valve, high strength, displacement feedback of valve core position, optional valve core position stroke monitoring.

Classification by proportional valve control method refers to the classification based on the electrical mechanical conversion mode in the pilot control valve of the proportional valve. Its electrical control part includes various forms such as proportional solenoid, torque motor, DC servo motor, etc.

(1) Electromagnetic electromagnetic valve refers to a proportional valve that uses a proportional electromagnet as an electrical mechanical conversion component. The proportional electromagnet converts the input current signal into force and displacement mechanical signals for output, thereby controlling parameters such as pressure, flow rate, and direction.

(2) Electric type refers to a proportional valve that uses a DC servo motor as an electrical mechanical conversion component. The DC servo motor converts the input electrical signal into rotational speed, and then outputs force and displacement through reduction devices and transformation mechanisms such as screw nuts, gear racks or gear camshafts, further controlling hydraulic parameters.

(3) Electro hydraulic refers to a proportional valve with a structure of a torque motor and nozzle baffle as the pilot control stage. Input different electrical signals to the torque motor and output displacement or angular displacement through the baffle connected to it (sometimes the armature of the torque motor is the baffle), change the distance between the baffle and the nozzle, and change the flow resistance of the oil sprayed from the nozzle, thereby controlling the transmission parameters.
