Overview

Our company's steel ruler calibration device, equipped with a third class metal line ruler, can carry out calibration and approval work for steel rulers ranging from 0 to 2000mm. The workbench is precision machined from cast iron material, with a total length of approximately 1.3 meters. The third class standard metal line ruler (also known as Geneva ruler) is a precision engraved metal ruler with a reading magnifying glass and a thermometer. In surveying and mapping operations, it is commonly used to check the distance between contour points, control points, and coordinate network points. It is specified in the national leveling measurement standards as a standard ruler for calibrating leveling scales. Other professional departments are also widely used for measuring and measuring straight-line distances and markings.

Our company producesSteel ruler calibration deviceEquipped with a third class metal line ruler, it can carry out the calibration and approval of steel rulers ranging from 0 to 2000mm.

As a high-tech and innovative new product of the 21st century with independent intellectual property rights in China, the third class standard metal line ruler integrates modern technology and fully automated manufacturing process technology of machining centers. It adopts laser engraving, marking, reading and pattern making. The product has high precision, high stability, and high clarity. The engraved lines are wide and the engraved line spacing is precise. The difference shows a linear curve rise and fall, without sudden jumps or accidental errors in peaks and valleys. The engraved lines are perpendicular to the standard, the ruler has good stiffness, low deformation rate, and good flatness. The accuracy indicators are significantly higher than the JJG71-2005 standard issued in 2005, and it has a high level.

Steel ruler calibration deviceMain specifications:

1. Instrument dimensions: 1050mm in length, 38mm in width, and 63mm in height

2. Instrument weight: 3Kg

3. Wooden box size: 1080mm in length, 74mm in width, and 82mm in height

4. Full set weight: approximately 5.5Kg

5. The division length of the meter ruler is 1020mm

6. The division value of the meter ruler: the two inclined surfaces are 1mm and 0.2mm respectively (can be estimated to read up to 0.01mm)

7. Magnifying power of magnifying glass: 7x

8. Scale division value of thermometer: 0.5 degrees

9The straightness of the inclined edge of the meter ruler is ≤0.1

This calibration table is an auxiliary fixture calibration device that is equipped with a third class metal line ruler. The workbench is made of precision machined cast iron material, with a total length of about 1.3 meters, and can be used for the calibration of steel rulers ranging from 0 to 2000mm.

Verification method:

The calibration system for measuring the total length indication error of rulers with specifications below 1000 mm involves placing a third class standard metal wire scale and the inspected ruler on the main and adjustable platforms of the steel ruler calibration table, respectively (the calibration device is shown in the top view).

In the top view, adjust the lifting nut so that the scribed surface of the ruler to be tested is on the same plane as the edge of the ruler (the mutual position of the ruler to be tested and the ruler is shown in Figure 3), and fix the upper and lower positions of the ruler and the ruler to be tested. Adjust the inspected ruler so that its line axis is parallel to the edge of the standard ruler, rotate the zero adjustment screw to align the first or last line of the standard ruler with the edge of the inspected ruler, and use the magnifying glass attached to the standard ruler to read out the error of the inspected ruler on the standard ruler.

For the calibration of 1500mm and 2000mm rulers, first remove the positioning plate on the calibration table, and then proceed according to the following method: the 1500mm calibration is divided into two sections of 1000mm and 500mm, and the 2000mm calibration is divided into two sections of 1000mm. The total length error is the algebraic sum of the two section errors.
