Many customers are asking me why some people sell weights so cheaply. I want to say that there are both cheap and expensive choices for any product. Don't look at these inconspicuous weights, there is also a difference in quality. For example, those cheap weights are inferior products that manufacturers brush out during manufacturing, and they are sold at a processing price. Some merchants recycle them at a low price, spray paint them, and sell them to some customers who don't understand weights, passing them off as good. The seller makes a huge profit, but in the end, it is the buyer who suffers losses. Because these inferior weights have inaccurate accuracy, high density brittleness, and are prone to breakage, which are not recognized by the country. If a buyer buys such weights due to a price difference of a few hundred yuan, they will ultimately suffer losses themselves.

So the next question is, how to choose high-quality weights? Choosing a good weight can keep you using it for many years. How to choose a good weight, the method is as follows:

Firstly, inquire with the manufacturer about the materials used, whether they are raw material iron for secondary purification and integral casting. If the raw material iron is purified again, it is beneficial to greatly improve the toughness of cast iron weights, especially for high-quality cast iron weights. During use, forks and hangers are not easily broken and resistant to impact, and the price is moderate. Durable and long-lasting! steel

Iron coated weights: Authentic steel coated iron weights have a high cost. There are many products on the market called ladle iron that are actually steel slag, and the appearance of steel slag weights is due to some manufacturers reducing production costs. The outer part is formed using steel plates, and the inner part is filled with waste iron slag and then sealed with molten iron (even filled with water mud blocks or stones). In principle, this type of weight is not allowed to be produced by the country, and over time, due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion and contraction between steel plates and cast iron, the outer steel plates are prone to bursting. A good way to distinguish between steel slag weights and cast iron weights is that compared to cast iron weights, steel slag weights have a larger volume and obvious welds on the outside.
