Flange connection or flange joint refers to a detachable connection composed of flanges, gaskets, and bolts connected to each other as a combined sealing structure. Pipeline flange refers to the flange used for piping in pipeline devices, and used on equipment refers to the inlet and outlet flanges of the equipment. There are holes on the flange, and bolts tightly connect the two flanges. Seal the flanges with gaskets. Flanges are divided into threaded connections (threaded connections), welded flanges, and clamp flanges. Flanges are used in pairs. For low-pressure pipelines, threaded flanges can be used, while for pressures above four kilograms, welded flanges can be used. Add a sealing gasket between the two flanges and tighten them with bolts. Flanges with different pressures have different thicknesses and use different bolts. When connecting water pumps and valves to pipelines, the corresponding flange shapes are also made for the parts of these equipment, also known as flange connections. Any connecting parts that are bolted together in two planes and enclosed at the same time are generally referred to as "flanges", such as the connection of ventilation ducts, which can be called "flange type parts". However, this connection is only a partial part of a device, such as the connection between a flange and a water pump, so it is not appropriate to call the water pump a "flange type component". The flange connection method is to first fix two pipes, fittings or equipment on a flange, add flange pads between the two flanges, and fasten them together with bolts to complete the connection. Some pipe fittings and equipment already come with flanges, which also belong to flange connections. Flange connection is an important connection method in pipeline construction. The flange connection is easy to use and can withstand high pressure. Flanges are divided into threaded connection (threaded connection) flanges, welded flanges, and sleeve flanges. Flange fittings are a type of welded fittings. This type of pipe fitting is used to match the pipeline. There are both processed and unprocessed ones. ⑴. Reasonable mold design. In the progressive die, the arrangement of cutting sequence may affect the accuracy of stamping part forming. For the cutting of small parts of stamped parts, a larger area of punching cutting is usually arranged first, followed by a smaller area of punching cutting to reduce the impact of punching force on the forming of stamped parts.
⑵. Press down on the material. Overcoming the traditional mold design structure, a material gap is opened on the discharge plate (i.e. when the mold is closed, the material can be compressed). For key forming parts, the discharge plate must be made into an embedded structure to facilitate the solution of grinding (pressure) damage caused by long-term stamping at the pressing part of the discharge plate, which cannot compress the material.
⑶. Add strong pressure function. Thicken the size of the unloading insert pressing part (normal unloading insert thickness H+0.03mm) to increase the pressure on the material on the concave die side, thereby suppressing the flipping and twisting deformation of the stamped part during punching.
⑷. Trim a sloping or curved surface at the end of the convex die blade. This is an effective method to reduce punching force. Reducing the buffer cutting force can alleviate the tensile force on the material on the concave die side, thereby achieving the effect of suppressing the flipping and twisting of stamped parts.
⑸. In daily mold production, attention should be paid to maintaining the sharpness of the cutting edges of the convex and concave molds. When the cutting edge wears out, the tensile stress on the material will increase, leading to an increased tendency for the stamped part to flip and twist.
⑹. Unreasonable or uneven punching gaps are also reasons for the flipping and twisting of stamped parts, which need to be overcome.
