③ When repairing the directional valve of the hydraulic cylinder, attention should be paid to the assembly direction of the valve core. Generally, the shoulders on both sides of the reversing valve body are symmetrical, while the distance between the shoulders on both sides of the valve core is mostly asymmetrical. Therefore, during assembly, directionality should be maintained, and they should be arranged in order during maintenance. If installed incorrectly, it will cause malfunction.

④ When installing various valves, attention should be paid to the orientation of the inlet and return ports. Some valves may cause accidents if the inlet and return ports are installed in reverse.

⑤ To avoid air infiltration into the valve, the connection should ensure good sealing.

⑥ For the convenience of installation, some valve components often have two holes with the same function, and the unused one needs to be blocked after installation.

⑦ Valves installed with flanges for hydraulic cylinders should not have screws tightened too tightly, as sometimes tightening can cause poor sealing. When tightening is necessary, if the original seal or material cannot meet the sealing requirements, the form or material of the seal should be replaced.

⑧ Generally adjusted valves increase flow and pressure when rotated clockwise, and decrease flow or pressure when rotated counterclockwise.
