Overview
The flexible and convenient SPLIT2 dust detector is designed for detecting inhalable and respiratory dust in individuals or areas. SPLIT2 is a passive dust analyzer that can be converted into active sampling by adding a 2 L/min sampling pump and GS-3 cyclone cutting head or IOM sampling head, enabling real-time dust monitoring and weighing sampling. SPLIT2 has an easy to read LCD screen that continuously displays concentration (mg/m3), mean (TWA), maximum (Max), minimum (Min), and short-term exposure limit (STEL). SPLIT2 can run for 8 hours with nickel hydrogen batteries or longer with a power adapter.

Whether used passively or actively sampled, SPLIT2 is convenient and comfortable to wear, without affecting daily work activities. During active sampling, the clamp of SPLIT2 can be fixed on one side of the staff's waist belt and the sampling pump on the other side. Sensors are installed on the respiratory tract for precise measurement. Handheld sticks and tripod accessories can be used for area monitoring.
SPLIT2 calibration
SPLIT2 is calibrated using SEA fine dust experiment. The collection of weighing filter samples can be used for precise real-time data, eliminating the problem of only monitoring fine dust experiments similar to SAE with accurate results.
