Bond Elut Mycotoxin is a novel adsorbent used for purifying food extracts, which can improve the LC/MS/MS analysis of trichothecene and zearalenone. Compared with similar methods such as using immunoaffinity chromatography columns (IAC) and activated carbon/alumina chromatography columns, the results are comparable or better. This adsorbent is a patented silica gel based ion exchange filler.
The Bond Elut Mycotoxin method has been successfully used for the extraction and purification of various food and cereal samples, including wheat, corn, durum wheat, oats, bread, nutritious breakfast, and baby food.
Bond Elut Mycotoxin is simple and easy to use, selectively allowing toxin analytes to pass through the small column without retention, while food matrix components are retained on the small column.
