Bond Elut DEA is qualitatively different from Bond Elut NH₂It is somewhat similar, but its anion exchange ability is slightly weaker. Due to the presence of an amino group at one end of its alkyl carbon chain, DEA is slightly non-polar. But these groups still have a moderate polarity greater than C8 and less than C2 or CN-E.
