Shangyi Fifth FactoryThe UQC series T35 magnetic flip column level gauge, also known as the magnetic flip plate level gauge, is suitable for measuring liquid levels in various open or closed containers, especially for high-pressure, high-temperature, high viscosity, and highly corrosive media. Due to the isolation between the measured medium and the indicator, it has higher reliability, safety, and practicality than traditional plate and tube level gauges. This instrument is used in combination with its auxiliary instruments LB type magnetic position transmitter and AK type magnetic alarm switch, which can continuously output 4-20mA analog signals and switch signals, and can achieve remote control and alarm of upper and lower limits of liquid level. This instrument can also be used in conjunction with other digital display instruments for various control purposes. Therefore, it is widely used for liquid level measurement and control in various industries such as electricity, petroleum, chemical, environmental protection, shipbuilding, construction, and food production processes.

Structure and Principle

The liquid level gauge is developed based on the principle of buoyancy and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the tested container rises or falls, the float in the float chamber of the level gauge also rises or falls accordingly. The magnetic steel inside the float is transmitted to the level indicator through magnetic coupling, driving the red and white magnetic flip columns in the level indicator. When the liquid level rises, the flip column turns red according to the height of the liquid level. The red height indicates the height of the liquid level in the container. Conversely, when the liquid level drops, the flip column will change from its original red to white.

The LB magnetic position transmitter consists of a liquid level sensor and a conversion module. The sensor of the transmitter is fixed in a bundled form on the outer side of the outer float chamber of the UQC magnetic float level gauge, so that it is in the same magnetic field system as the level gauge. When the magnetic float moves up and down with the liquid level, the reed switch corresponding to the liquid level position is attracted to change the resistance value in the electronic circuit and output a 4-20mADC standard signal output.

The AK type magnetic alarm switch adopts a fully sealed magnetic holding switch imported from Japan. The alarm switch is fixed in a bundled form on the outer float type of the UQC magnetic float level gauge, so that it is in the same magnetic field system. When the magnetic float moves up and down with the liquid level, the fully sealed holding switch corresponding to the liquid level position is activated, and the switch signal is output, which is controlled by the control device.

The signals output by the position transmitter and alarm switch mentioned above can be easily matched with various instruments to achieve the purpose of control, regulation, display, and alarm.
