At the same time, it also prevents external air and impurities from entering the cavity, avoiding affecting the chemical stability of the slurry or introducing pollution. In the pursuit of achieving nanometer sized and evenly distributed product particles, any leakage or contamination may result in the entire batch of products being unqualified. High pressure and high linear velocity: In order to achieve efficient grinding, the chamber pressure and stirring shaft speed are both very high, which places high demands on the stability of the sealing surface and heat dissipation.
Strong corrosiveness: Many slurries (such as lithium battery materials and pesticide formulations) themselves have chemical corrosiveness.
Temperature fluctuations: The grinding process generates a large amount of heat, causing an increase in temperature in the sealed area.
3、 Materials and Design Key

Material selection: Ultra hard, highly wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant engineering ceramic materials are commonly used for dynamic and static ring sealing pairs, with silicon carbide (SiC) being the most common, especially reaction sintered or pressureless sintered SiC. It has high hardness, good thermal conductivity, and low coefficient of thermal expansion, making it an ideal choice. Under more stringent working conditions, hard alloys (such as tungsten cobalt alloy) or high-performance composite materials (such as silicon carbide sealing rings with diamond coatings) will be used.
Structural design: The sealing surface undergoes ultra precision grinding to achieve mirror level smoothness, ensuring a tight fit. Reasonable spring pressure ratio should be considered in the design to ensure initial sealing, and appropriate flushing and cooling interfaces should be left. Clean coolant (such as water or specialized sealing fluid) should be introduced to remove frictional heat, lubricate the sealing surface, and prevent particle accumulation in the sealing area.
4、 Maintenance and selection
