Self contained biological indicator (high D value)，A self-contained biological indicator is composed of Bacillus subtilis spores (ATCC7953), culture medium (sealed in a glass tube), and plastic shell. The bacterial content of the agar sheet is 5 × 10⁵～5×10⁶Cfu/tablet. The D value is about 2.2 minutes. Under saturated steam conditions at 121 ℃± 0.5 ℃, the survival time is ≥ 3.9 minutes and the killing time is ≤ 19 minutes (based on COA).

Product usage instructions:

1. Put the pressure steam sterilization biological indicator into a standard biological testing kit;

2. According to relevant regulations, place the test kits in different positions inside the pressure steam sterilizer;

3. Sterilization completed, remove the biological indicator;

4. Squeeze the glass tube inside and place it together with a control tube in a 56 ℃ to 58 ℃ incubator for cultivation;

5. After 48 hours of cultivation, the judgment result shows that the color of the sterilization tube culture medium has changed from purple red to yellow, indicating that the sterilization process has not passed. If the color of the culture medium remains unchanged, it can be determined that the sterilization effect is normal.
