The high-throughput tissue grinder can perform fast and effective grinding. It can be dry ground, wet ground, mixed, and homogenized, and with special cell crushing beads, it can crush cells that are difficult to break with ultrasound and high pressure. The types of samples include plant tissues (seeds such as rice, corn, wheat, beans, peanuts, stems, roots, leaf petals, cotton and wool fabrics), animal tissues (muscles, small intestine, heart, liver, lungs, fur, bones, etc.), cells, bacteria, yeast, and conidia. For extracting nucleic acids from large-scale samples, it greatly improves grinding efficiency and quality, reduces labor costs, and alleviates the labor intensity of operators.

Principle:

Add small steel balls (or zirconia balls) to the grinding jar or centrifuge tube used for sample loading, and vibrate the jar or adapter vertically. Under high-frequency vibration, the balls hit the sample at high speed to complete the grinding process.

Using grinding balls for grinding makes the sample grinding more uniform and thorough compared to traditional grinding methods. By using a high-throughput tissue grinder, it can also be used as a homogenizer. Adding steel balls and cell beads to the grinding tank can effectively crush cells that are difficult to break by ultrasonic high-pressure crushing. High density small steel balls or zirconia beads can be used to quickly disperse the sample.
