Easy to operate, uniform, and suitable sample size for rapid preparation and analysis are necessary conditions for obtaining direct and accurate laboratory results. Quick sampling saves operation time and is safe. Of course, the sample taken must be full, with no cracks or slag on the surface, uniform composition, and able to represent the composition of the entire ladle of molten steel. Therefore, there are high requirements for the sampler.

2. Sample samplerThe samples taken can be used for component analysis, such as the analysis of the five major elements, gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, and the quantity of inclusions. It can also be used for physical analysis, such as inclusion size analysis. It is generally believed that forging is necessary for inclusion analysis to ensure uniform distribution of aggregated inclusions, which can also be compared with the data of rolled steel plates.

Steel samplerDue to the high carbon content in molten iron, the sample taken is prone to segregation during the solidification process due to selective crystallization. The molten iron sampler produced by our company has thick rapid cooling plates or sample molds, which can quickly solidify the molten iron into white cast iron, reduce segregation, and obtain reliable analysis results. The sample can be used for spectral analysis and carbon sulfur analysis.

1. Principle: The sampler is immersed in molten iron, and under static pressure, the molten iron enters the sampler mold.

2. Suitable for sampling from iron tanks, ladles, etc. The sample size is φ 35 × 12

3. Usage conditions: Generally, manual or automatic sampling is possible. After polishing the circular sample, it can be used for spectral analysis of C, Mn, P, and Si elements, but there may be deviations in the analysis of S. After desulfurization treatment, the sulfur content is relatively low. It is recommended to take a rod sample for carbon and sulfur analysis using a carbon sulfur analyzer with high accuracy.
