40000, 42000, and 44000 series

There are different series of shock pulse sensors, each with different sizes.

40000 series

The 40000 series impact pulse sensor is used for bearing monitoring in SPM devices. They are installed in the countersunk mounting holes on the bearing housing. The impact pulse sensor converts the impact pulse emitted by the bearing into an electrical signal. Coaxial cables connect sensors to measurement terminals or units. The maximum cable length is 4 meters (expandable to 100 meters using an external TMU).

The sensor housing and base are made of stainless acid resistant steel, suitable for corrosive environments. The standard thread size is M8, and UNC 5/16 'can be selected. The standard length (A) is 61.5 mm. A long sensor (B) with a length of 115.5 mm is used to contact the bearing seat under the protective cover. Sensors are usually connected to TNC plugs, and TNC corner plugs can be used in narrow spaces. To prevent cable corrosion in humid environments, coaxial cables must be connected to sealed TNC plugs.

42000 series (impact pulse sensor with TMU)

When the cable length between the sensor and the measuring unit exceeds 4 meters, an impact pulse sensor with TMU (42000 series) is used for bearing monitoring in SPM devices. The sensor with TMU sensor matching unit is installed in the countersunk mounting hole on the bearing housing, using the same installation method as the 40000 sensor. The impact pulse sensor with TMU converts the impact pulse emitted by the bearing into an electrical signal and stabilizes the signal for transmission through a long cable. Coaxial cables connect sensors to measurement terminals or units. The maximum cable length is 100 meters.

The sensor housing and base are made of stainless steel and acid resistant steel, suitable for corrosive environments. The thread size is M8, with optional UNC 5/16 '. Transducers are usually connected using TNC plugs. The TNC corner plug can be used in narrow spaces. To prevent cable corrosion in humid environments, coaxial cables must be connected to sealed TNC plugs.
